Hard times

When I first started this blog, I certainly did not think it would be as hard as it is, this blogging thing. Actually the writing is not hard, nor is coming up with subject to write about, but rather just finding the time to write. I realize this is only my fourth or fifth post on the site, and if its this hard this early what makes me think I can continue? Its really simple, I’ve found a new subject which I love exploring with my beautiful partner, and I love having sex.

Lately we’ve been continuing our learning and exploration of what works for us and what does not. Initially we both looked at this new subject of bondage, and said how hard can it be?  So we tried going it alone, we tried tying each other up exploring who was going to top and who was to bottom ( we’re still exploring this one ). The issue became that most of the positions either of us came up with were not wrong, but uncomfortable due to the improper use of knots and rope causing undue pain and limbs to go numb.  Take the simple position of spread-eagle ( I don’t know if this is the official name), probably the most basic and overused bondage position.  Which is understandable as it takes very little knowledge, or materials to achieve, however as I quickly have learned if each limb is not tied off correctly, this basic position can become uncomfortable and down right painful.  There is only one tie that is needed for this position, however I’ve seen several different variations, Two Knotty Boys call it a Rope Shackle, and Monk calls it a Single Limb Cuff, but no mater what it is called, it must be done properly.  One thing I’ve noticed is that, each of these techniques utilizes the entire cuff, or wraps around the wrist or ankle, to secure the limb, rather than tension being put on any one single wrap.

Once again YouTube.com comes to the rescue:
